Using school wellness policies to create healthier school environments.

School food service personnel, school wellness personnel, school administrators or board members, dietitians, health professionals, and anyone with an interest in improving the health of children are invited to attend a seminar on improving the school food environment.  Join us to discuss the Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act of 2010 and how it relates to school wellness, strengthening school wellness policies, and junk food and beverage marketing and availability.

Special Guest Speaker: Dr. Margo Wootan – Director of Nutrition Policy for Center for Science in the Public Interest
